Why count CFU-Fs?
CFU-f (Colony Forming Unit - Fibroblast) counts are the accepted metric for measuring the regenerative potential of bone marrow. TNC (total nucleic cell) counts include nucleated red blood cells and white blood cells from the peripheral blood component of the biologic drawn which have little regenerative capability. Published research consistently uses CFU-f counts to identify the thresholds for clinical efficacy.

Guide the device approx. 3cm deeper into marrow space.
